Thomas Porter

Non-Executive Director

Thomas joined the board in 2019 to provide independent strategic advice.  Thomas is an economics graduate from the University of Sussex and a CFA Charterholder.   He is an Investment Director for a London based family office, where he specialises in assessing and structuring private equity investments. He also acts as Non-executive Director for several other companies, including a UK based real estate company and a Singapore based fund manager.

Rainer Maas

CEO

Rainer is a former Banker and has 30 years’ experience in private banking and wealth management. He spent the last 20 years with Pictet, one of Switzerland’s leading private banks and a respected global asset management specialist.

Rainer attended the European School in Luxembourg and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Trier (Germany). A Luxembourg and German native, he is fluent in English, French, German, Luxemburgish and Italian.

Kathy Marchione

Manager

After obtaining a Master’s degree in English from the University of Lorraine (France), Kathy started her career in the financial sector in 2000, providing legal and corporate services for a range of institutional and private clients.
She currently manages a team of 10 to 15 legal officers that are part of the Professionals of the Financial Sector in Luxembourg, providing legal, domiciliation, accounting, tax, governance and advisory services to an ever evolving portfolio of clients.

With a strong expertise in wealth management, European as well as international laws and regulations, she boasts more than 20 years’ experience in incorporation, domiciliation, administration and liquidation of Luxembourg companies. She is a native French speaker and is fluent in English.

Laurence Mostade

Manager

From a career that started in the late 1990’s Laurence is a seasoned and experienced Client Director. She has acquired a sound understanding of European laws and regulations, with particular expertise in domiciliation, corporate management and tax advisory. Couple this with a good knowledge of international investment structures, including Soparfi, SPE, SICAR, management companies and securitization vehicles and she is able to expertly support a portfolio of private and institutional clients.

Laurence holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Management from HEC Liège in Belgium and a Master’s in European and International Law from the University of Liège in Belgium. She is a native French speaker and is also fluent in English and Dutch.

Nisia Ngo-Bayiha

Accountant

Nisia has more than 15 years’ experience in accounting, with experience in accounting and domiciliation service providers in Luxembourg. She holds a Master 2 in Financial Engineering and Corporate Banking from IUP of Finance in Nancy. Besides her native language, she speaks English fluently. fluent in English and Dutch.

Marcel Ostendorf

Senior Accountant

Marcel has more than 10 years’ experience in Luxembourg in accounting, treasury, and financial control across providers in the Real Estate and Private Equity sector. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Apart from his native tongue German, he is fluent in English and French.

Xavier Maison

Finance Director

Xavier started his career with PwC, where he spent 6 years delivering audit and advisory services to clients in Real Estate and Private Equity sectors.

He then spent 5 years with Blackstone in finance functions, initially working on the fund side before transitioning into operations for Private Equity transactions.

Xavier holds a Master’s degree in Audit and Cost Control from ESGF in France, as well as a Master’s in Internal Control and Risk Management from MBA ESG in France. He is a native French speaker and also fluent in English.

Farid Biga

Accountant

Farid transitioned into accounting after discovering his passion for corporate services and corporate governance while working for a family office and corporate domiciliation provider in Luxembourg. Inspired by this experience, he pursued a career change through evening studies and a dedicated programme of continuous professional development, successfully turning his ambition into reality. Farid is fluent in French, English, Hungarian and Arabic and is currently perfecting his German.
